This snazzy 1938 Corona Silent Apothecary Typewriter is for sale. The typewriter was serviced by Ace Typewriter in Portland, Oregon. The machine has the platen with a card holder and apothecary symbols.
While testing the typewriter I used one of my typewriter lesson books. I randomly pulled up a page on manners. Apparently, in 1947, if you took typing in high school you were also taught manners.
