Smith Corona Skyriter Portable
This crafty portable was brought in by one of our dedicated collectors (along with another portable). This poor thing has a litany of items; right ribbon spool is stuck, three keys stick badly, and it is filthy with years of pencil eraser debris everywhere in the components. The Smith-Corona Galaxie Deluxe typewriter was made between 1967 and 1970. This lovable light blue model even has a matching blue platen. There is a good reason the Smith-Corona portables were so popular, as they are a really good machine with a light touch that makes it easy to use.
