I’ve seen plenty Royal Dreyfuss Quiet DeLuxe typewriters that are the gold metal plated anniversary edition. Well . . . in photos on the interwebs. Pretty snazzy.
I’ve never had one actually walk into the shop until today. Our friend Ray Montgomery in Astoria ran into some nice folks who shared this gold typewriter with him. Well he got all giddy on them.
Got those folks all excited about what they possessed. I’m certainly happy they decided to trust us to service this delightful QDL. According to the serial number RA-2961306 this machine is from the year 1954.
All the typewriter needed was a good cleaning and new ribbon.
