I had to buy this Olivetti Lettera 36 portable as I’d read some of the opinions of the type-o-sphere. The oh so wise folks out there were right. It is a nice portable electric machine with touch control, a nice carriage return, impression control (no, not public relations) and a good crisp typing feel.
Heck, the words flew from my fingers to the page – stuck type bars- what just happened? I hit the keybd rel button. Then emote an additional flying by the fingers to comment about cats with rabbit like fur – stuck type bars – what the OIUDFODHF! Keybd rel button. Ok, start again; Oh, my lovey gardens in the fall, so bright and cheerful full of autumn scents. Harvesting the beans and look, the pumpkins are turning oran – stuck type bars – HEY! This is exactly what everyone was saying in the sphere; while it is a sublime typing machine, fast as all get out, the keys get jammed WAY TOO FREQUENTLY. No wonder they put that convenient button keybd rel so prominent on the keyboard. Style like all get out with beautiful bright BLUE knobs!
