Ha, ha! This snazzy Royal Fleetwood Portable Typewriter with a WORKING AM radio is for sale.
We’ve gotten in these “radio in the shell” typewriters in for service with mucho corroded radios. That never work. So to our delight, this one works. And is it loud!
While I was cleaning it up I tuned it into my favorite Spanish language station KBRO 1490 AM (Bremerton, WA) Well, OK. This radio station is the ONLY station we get in this old 1910 office building. To get the radio station I listen to all day ( FM radio station KEXP ) I have to go to the internet and “live stream” it.
This typewriter is recently serviced, types nice and puts good print on the page. You buy it! Or at least come into the shop and rock out listening to the radio while typing away like you are in a koffee shop.
